School District of Brown Deer – Phase 1

For this project, the old Middle School was converted to the current Brown Deer Elementary School. The 7th and 8th grade students were relocated into a special wing at the high school with their own separate gym, cafeteria, and classrooms. The High School was converted to a 7-12th grade building that included a four-station gym with a track and climbing wall, locker rooms, restrooms, concession area, and a high school cafeteria and art classroom. In order to resolve overcrowding issues at Brown Deer Elementary School, an addition of 22,940 square feet of space was added to Brown Deer Middle School, which now houses grades 6-8th.
