Deer Creek Park Shelter

The Door Creek Park Shelter project involves the construction of a 4,000-square-foot, multi-season facility designed to enhance community spaces in alignment with the Parks Division’s adopted park master plan. Located at 7035 Littlemore Drive on Madison’s far east side, the shelter aims to provide a high-quality experience for residents of the Door Creek neighborhood and the broader Madison community. It serves as a year-round venue for both community gatherings and private events, fostering engagement through its versatile amenities.

The facility includes an indoor event space with a 100-person capacity, a reservable outdoor area with an overhang, a prep kitchen, public restrooms, storage for equipment rentals, and a garage for park maintenance gear. Additionally, rooftop solar panels will contribute to its electricity needs.
