Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy
CG Schmidt served as the Construction Manager for the new Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy (HFCA) high school facility in Milwaukee’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood. Designed by Engberg Anderson Architects, the 80,000-square-foot building at 2212 N. Vel R. Phillips Avenue features modern classrooms, a library, study areas, conference rooms, a gymnasium, and an auditorium. The facility also includes maker spaces equipped for hands-on technology experiences such as 3D printing, robotics, and building modeling.
This new facility was built to accommodate HFCA’s growing student body and provide a high-quality learning environment that aligns with its mission of preparing scholars for college and careers. The expanded space ensures students have access to the resources and technology needed to thrive in an innovative, supportive academic setting.
