Hotel Verdant

Formerly a Zahn’s Department Store, the 1924 building situated within Racine’s main city plaza houses this one-of-a-kind boutique hotel. Containing 80 rooms, a 200-person ballroom, meeting spaces, fitness center, a lobby and full-service restaurant, and a rooftop garden bar overlooking Lake Michigan, the historic reconstruction of Hotel Verdant is additionally constructed with sustainability in mind.
Environmentally friendly features include geothermal heating-cooling, solar panels, wind turbines and roof-top plantings to soak up storm water. Geothermal systems service the structure below ground. The hotel will welcome guests in Spring of 2023.
