Monroe Clinic Medical Office Building

CG Schmidt managed the construction of the new Medical Office Building for long-time client the Monroe Clinic, part of the SSM Health network. Included in this project was a 91,873 sq.ft. addition and an additional 88,946 sq.ft. of renovations to the existing clinic. Services housed within the Medical Office Building include Audiology, Cardiology, Imaging, General Surgery, Neurology, Pediatrics, Primary Care, Urology, Wound Center, a Sleep Lab, office spaces and teaching areas, among others. A significant project challenge involved tying the new structure into the existing building while the building remained operational. To achieve this, and ensure patient safety, close coordination was required between the project and owner’s teams.
