This project added production capability for EHV Transformers with total MVA manufacturing capacity of 24,000 MVA or more at max rating. This also included a new receiving bay, winding bay, assembly bay, utility bay, tank and cover bay, test bay and shipping bay with a railroad spur. The office area was also constructed and extensive renovations of the existing building occurred. An 18,000-square-foot test bay, which was constructed as a Faraday Cage, had a roof height of just under 120’.
