Welcome Jeremy Theis, Managing Director – Healthcare

CG Schmidt welcomes Jeremy Theis as the newest member of our team. In his role, Jeremy will serve as Managing Director of the company’s Healthcare Division, developing growth strategies and driving successful outcomes for the firm’s clients.

Jeremy has spent over 20 years in the planning, design, and construction industry. Most recently he was the Director of Planning, Design and Construction for the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). While at MCW, he managed over thirty ongoing education, research, and healthcare capital projects. Through this role, Jeremy partnered with CG Schmidt on the completion and move-in for the Hub for Collaborative Medicine.

Prior to MCW, Jeremy was the Milwaukee County Director of Facilities Management, overseeing and implementing the capital improvement plan for 12 million square feet, including the Zoo, General Mitchell Airport, Parks Department, Courthouse Facilities, and many other key municipal assets.

Before moving to Milwaukee, Jeremy served for 11 years on active duty in the United States Navy in the Civil Engineers Corps and Seabees. While in the Navy, Jeremy deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, served as Facilities Engineer to the Office of the Vice President of the United States, served as Aide to the U.S. Navy Chief of Civil Engineers, and was appointed to Office in Charge of Construction Ivan to assist with the rebuilding of Naval Air Station Pensacola after Hurricane Ivan. He retired from the Naval Reserves last year.

Jeremy is a recognized real estate planning and development leader, a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin, and is active in the Milwaukee community. He lives in Wauwatosa with his wife and three children. He has served on the Wauwatosa Facilities Advisory Committee for the recent school referendum, volunteered as a coach and in an advisory capacity for Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, and serves in various roles with national and local professional organization chapters/sub-committees.
